In a semester long project, my studio thoroughly researched the local bees, and spoke to beekeepers about the various types of care they require.

I designed and built a set of beehives and a protective stand for the local community gardens, as well as a research facility and on-site living quarters for the graduate students caring for the school's bees along Boulder Creek.
